This in-house training session is delivered in partnership with Clearwater and the City of Boroondara.

Purpose:

To provide participants with an introduction to the concepts of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and whole-of-water-cycle management (WoWCM) – what it is and why we are doing it.

To familiarise participants with the function, principles and key components of street-scale WSUD assets to enable them to better understand maintenance needs and implications.

To provide participants with a sound understanding of the key maintenance tasks involved in managing street-scale WSUD assets to enable them to effectively maintain these systems.

To provide the opportunity for council staff to discuss and conduct action planning around current maintenance issues and needs and to document agreed next steps.
