Join Clearwater for the Great South Coast IWM Practitioner Workshop #2, combined with an IWM tour of Colac and the City of Geelong!
Clearwater has tailor made this tour for the Great South Coast IWM practitioners. The tour will showcase the Colac IWM Plan and a number of exciting Integrated Water Management projects that have been undertaken in the City of Geelong. Presenters at each of the sites will discuss the issues of engineering, urban design, landscaping, and organisational/community engagement. The workshop will then provide a great opportunity to apply the learnings and inspiration from each site and to further develop projects with peers from across the region. E2 Design have been engaged to facilitate the workshop.
Thursday 20th September
10am - Presentation at Colac Otway Performing Arts and Cultural Centre (COPACC) - Meeting Room 2 (self-drive to Colac)
11am - depart Colac and self-drive to Botanic Place, Botanic Gardens, Geelong (parking available)
12:30pm to 5pm - tour of Greater Geelong begins and concludes at Botanic Place carpark

Please park at Botanic Place, Botanic Gardens, Geelong. The tour will conclude at this point, and you will be brought back to your vehicle.

Digest the sites visited on the tour and discussions of the day while making connections with your peers from across the region.
Clearwater will not be covering the cost of dinner
When registering, please indicate in the 'Access Requirements' section if you will require accommodation for the night of September 20th.
There will be shared apartments with private rooms and each apartment includes a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your breakfast on Friday morning.
Accommodation will be covered by Clearwater, but you will be charged for the cost of your room if you cancel after COB Monday 17th or fail to attend.

The tour will begin and conclude at Botanic Place (Botanic Place, Botanic Gardens, Geelong). Parking is available on site and you will be returned to your vehicle at the end of the tour.
The workshop will be held at at Barwon Water (55-67 Ryrie Street, Geelong VIC 3220). This is walking distance from the apartments.
Parking is limited, however we have arranged for you to park at the apartments for the day, if you wish. Please consider carpooling to this event.
