Clearwater and the WaSSH group invite you and your stormwater colleagues to the final Stormwater Harvest funding recipient workshop for 2011.

These workshops are held for recipients of Federal Stormwater Harvesting and Reuse Fund who are currently planning or constructing a stormwater harvesting project.

The event provides an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, address common issues and build a learning and support network.

The November workshop will be hosted by Knox City Council and will incorporate:

  • A morning tour of two Knox stormwater harvesting project sites. Sites include Kings Park Quarry (completed) and Eildon Park (final stages of construction). Knox staff will talk about project objectives, lessons learnt, budget and design consideration, stakeholder communications including VicTrack approvals and contractor performance.

  • Small group project workshopping and whole network discussion – including discussion on federal fund reporting, consultant and contractor engagement and building awareness and support for the project within your organisation

  • The workshop will be followed by a networking lunch

We strongly encourage you to bring / send new representatives from your organisation to each meeting to expand the network and knowledge throughout your organisation.
