Draft of EPA guidance for urban stormwater management currently open for feedback

The draft of EPA guidance for urban stormwater management is currently open for feedback. The document provides guidance for designing systems to manage urban stormwater run-off from new development across urban areas in Victoria. While the guidance is not a compliance document it adds to the knowledge from previous guidance and planning requirements.
The document supports the planning and design of new urban stormwater management systems and focuses on

*highlighting the risk to waterways and bays caused by sealed (impervious) surfaces
*providing general objectives and information to support risk assessment and minimisation
*explaining stormwater management for Victorian communities
