Moonee Valley Council exhibit a new stormwater planning scheme amendment

The new planning scheme amendment establishes requirements for new development that promotes the use of best practice performance objectives for stormwater management (water sensitive urban design) in the consideration of planning applications/proposals.

It applies to all land in the municipality, where an application is made for:

  • New buildings
  • Extensions to existing buildings which are 50 square metres in floor area or greater
  • A subdivision in a business zone.


Does not apply to an application for:

  • A subdivision of an existing building.
