Best Practice Notes for Urban Practitioners

Loci Environment & Place Inc. is a nonprofit body that challenges practitioners from all urban fields of interest to each play a role in making a change for healthier places, people and environments.

With the support of the Department of Environment, Land, Water & Planning, Loci developed a range of open source Better Best Practice Notes that are designed to help practitioners strive for best possibilities in delivering city shaping and sustainability projects.

They include practice notes on topics relating to Environment and Place, Flora and Fauna, Trees in Cities, Urban Soils, and People and Urban Nature. The practice notes are a great tool to ensure sustainability outcomes in major projects, and can easily be added into tender documents for example.
