In March 2010 Clearwater presented the Hot Topic seminar “Getting Stormwater back into the ground”. Speakers included academic researchers, industry experts and local government practitioners who focused on case studies across Melbourne to highlight emerging stormwater treatment technologies. Discussion points included -the exceess of stormwater reaching our waterways and its impacts on hydrology and river health. Presentations also focussed on research and latest designs to disconnect impervious surfaces, divert stormwater back in the ground, promote infiltration and use stormwater harvesting to assist catchment health and better manage flow regimes
