Communicating Water Words and Visuals: Making sense of the terminology

11/09/2018

The Cooperative Research Centre for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC) has developed a communication tool combining engaging visuals and easy-to-understand terminology to help practitioners build support for new policies.

It provides help to those who need to communicate about water-related issues to develop effective water-related communication materials through water words, and water visuals.

Whether you are designing information for outward facing communications (e.g. website, fact sheets), planning for community consultation, having informal conversations with community members or even talking to politicians, the findings of this research could help you more fully engage audiences with water information.
